This website does not set cookies, run analytics, or track visitors. Server-side request logs may be kept by the hosting provider (GitHub Pages) for up to 30 days for the purpose of detecting and mitigating abuse.
Apps
NFC.cool Tools and NFC.cool Business Card process your data locally on your device. Scans, NFC writes, contacts, and notes are stored only on your device — they are not uploaded to any NFC.cool server.
If you opt in to webhooks, scan results are sent to the URL you configure. NFC.cool is not the recipient and does not see your scan data.
If you opt in to business-card analytics (Business Card app only), aggregate view/save counts for your shared cards are recorded so you can see them in the app. No personal data of viewers is collected.
Third parties
The apps use Apple’s NFC, scanning, and document recognition frameworks on iPhone, and the corresponding system frameworks on Android. These run entirely on-device.
